Lady Gaga Debuts Sickening New Single "The Cure" At Coachella

Tickets added to Lady Gaga's Denver concert
Gaga stepped in to perform in the place of Beyonce, who had to pull out of the California-based music event due to being pregnant with twins. The new song, "The Cure", is not a part of her latest album Joanne. "People who are still disappointed that Beyonce will not be there still might get a taste of Beyonce during Gaga's performances". Gaga premiered the song about halfway through her performance and, judging by Gaga's "The Cure" lyrics, it may be somewhat of a dedication to her fans. It's as though she took what should have been an arena set list and threw caution to the wind and performed it in front of 100,000 people.
Lady Gaga remained interactive with the Coachella crowd and real throughout her set, often stopping in the middle of the songs only to tell the crowd that she loved them.
As you can imagine, Twitter went into absolute meltdown when Gaga announced she was going to be performing a new song.
"Have you all found someone you want to sleep with yet?" she teasingly asked the 100,000-strong crowd, majority young and many of them clad only in the bare minimum of clothing after a long day in the sun.
Gaga will be back on the Coachella stage April 22.
On Saturday, six-time Grammy victor Lady Gaga performed as a replacement for Beyonce, who is pregnant with twins and gave up her headlining spot on doctor's orders, with promises to appear next year.
Unlike Radiohead's headline set on Friday, Gaga had no technical difficulties.
Following her Coachella performance and new single, she took the time to talk with Prince William over Skype about the importance of mental health.
Lady Gaga's last costume change for the night was made as "Applause" played.
Music fans from all over the world have arrived for week one of the Coachella music and art festival.
